Reception Problems

 

If your phone got wet and now has low reception or drops calls, you should immediately remove the battery from your phone and have it serviced. Low reception problems are very common after a phone gets wet, because there are so many chips on the internal circuit board that are responsible for the transmission signal- if only one of these chips gets liquid damaged, you will experience low reception or dropped calls. Usually after getting wet, more severe problems develop, for example keyboard problems, or a problem with the LCD. However it is important to remove the battery and send it in for service, because as long as the battery is installed, at anytime the phones circuit board can become overpowered and permanent damage can occur. If the phone powers up still, its not too late for repair most of the time, and recovery chances are much higher.
